Information for Tenants and Prospective Tenants in Savannah.

Why PPM?

If you're leasing your residence in Historic Savannah, you owe it to yourself to lease from a professional management company like PPM. Professional management means no hassles over needed repairs and no shenanigans with security deposits... and a local face in a local office to help with any issues or concerns that may arise.

Yes, we do have minimum qualifying standards to lease our properties, but we don't expect perfection. If your history shows you to be someone who is responsible and generally meets your important obligations, we'd like to have you as a resident and we think you'll like working with us.

How to Apply

You can either select a specific property first, or apply for qualification as a PPM resident and choose a property at a later time (pre-qualify). You can visit the "Rentals" page and browse through the listings there, then call us to schedule a viewing. The application form is on this website, or if you don't have a printer available we can fax it to you or send it via email.

To ensure speedy processing (usually just a few hours for local folks), along with your application you should supply a photo ID, proof of incomes and employment, and a signed authorization form for us to check rental and credit history. If the property you are interested in accepts pets (not all do), submit the Pet Application form as well. Also, review our pet policy for limitations and a list of ineligible pets. Submit all materials to our office.

Submit a completed application for each adult occupant, and an application fee for each person who will be a signer on the lease.

Also, note our policy on priority (we've heard of some horror stories about this). Applications are considered on a first-come basis. In other words, if another application comes in while we are processing yours, they get in line behind you until we have a final decision on yours. Once we've accepted your application fee we will never let another applicant lease the property out from under you.
